Romeo, Romeo! Wherefore art thou Romeo?

Julia Dream

This is one of my thesis paintings, a full-jacket cover illustration for „Romeo and Juliet” - William Shakespeare classic fairytale romance about two young star-crossed lovers whose deaths ultimately unite their feuding families.

The 5 Dollar Milkshake

ketchup

Uma Thurman as her deviant character Mia Wallace. It's taken from the famous scene at Jack Rabbit Slim’s restaurant where Travolta and Thurman dance for the Twist Contest.

I tried to draw from memory. That's why she looks a little different.

Wild child, full of grace

That's an old one actually. I was surprised to find it in my papers, I forgot I had it!
Done with tempera. ;)

I'm bored, which means I will be painting random things for a while.

Madame

I honestly don't have a clue about who she is and what she does, but I fell in love with this picture the moment I saw it! She is beautiful and has very nice features to work with. And here's the result:

Hope you like it!

New York, New York

It seems it's been three months since I last uploaded something here! Well, I had some serious stuff going on with friends, school and family and everything else.

Lately, it seems that I can't get myself to finish any piece I've been working on. I've got tons here in my room that are just stuck in the middle, and I can't figure out how to finish them.

Feeling ambitious one day I decided to paint in climat of New York.
I'm trying to create intensity, depth... refining the power of an unknowable gaze. ...oh god :D

Hope you like it!
